We gain rapid growth on facebook with over 800 members in the first couple of months.
Sailing & Cruising Scotland TV was born. A new sailing video sharing platform and the only one of its kind in the World where anyone can share a you tube sailing video into a channel feed.
With continued rapid growth on our Facebook platform we relaunch as Club Sailing & Cruising Scotland the World's 1st National & International online Sailing & Cruising club and our first club website is created.
Club member Chris Burkett designs the new club burgee.The burgee was chosen by the members in an online vote.
Our first ever event The Flotilla To Tarbert which attracted over 40 boats.(the first of many FREE sailing events)
Our second event attracted 45 boats on the "Sail drop and roll event" at Portavadie followed by a world class show from Red Bulls Danny Macaskill.
After the success of the first two club events Kenny McVey assembles an organising team of new found friends for 2017 events.
Sailing & Cruising Scotland TV cracks 1/2 million website views.
Club Sailing & Cruising Scotland are awarded the runners up spot as UK sailing club of the year 2016 at the Southampton boat show.
The club's facebook group reaches 4,000 members, the fastest growing sailing club in the world.
Club Sailing & Cruising Scotland attends it's first boat show at Kip marina with HRH Princess Ann popping by to say hello.
Club bookeeper Stuart Scott sets up the clubs first Bank Account.
January: Info and social session : Outboard engine servicing and maintenance session, Youth power boat driving ( Oban Duncan). Event held in conjunction with Duncan yacht chandlery, Glasgow.
June: Flotilla to Tarbert (T2) is attended by 70 boats.
July: Week long West coast Rally is organised by Chris Burkett and Bob Mullins.
August: Holy Loch Muster. Meet and greet in Holy Loch sailing club with entertainment in Holy Loch afterwards.
June: Flotilla to Tarbert. An amazing 140 boats turned out to our biggest event to date.
July: West coast 100 Rally: 15 boats.
July: East Coast Muster held in conjunction with Anstruther Harbour festival.
September: Closing Hawaiian muster was held at Holy Loch Marina. Event was supported by Marina and Holy Loch inn. Approx 45 boats attended.
